James Taylor's main acoustic guitars since the late 1980's are cedar-top models with rosewood
back and sides made by Minnesota based luthier James Olson.
They feature an abalone sound hole rosette, abalone top edge, abalone back center strip, abalone butt wedge joint, dove fretboard inlays, ebony tuner buttons and a L. R. Baggs LB6 bridge pickup.
