Rory used his Stratocaster extensively throughout his career and literally thousands of concerts. It started life as a sunburst, but due to constant touring and Gallagher's especially acidic sweat, the finish was almost completely worn off.
Most parts were replaced over time, but the Strat retains the original body and neck it started with in 1961.
